WHY SHOULD IT BE DONE?

HOW OFTEN SHOULD IT BE DONE?    
  • Self examination
    • Every month after the age of 20 years
  • By a Doctor

WHAT IS IT?    
  • It is a low – dose X –Ray of the Breast
WHAY SHOULD IT BE DONE?

WHEN SHOULD IT BE DONE?

  What are the facilities in the rooms at Samved Hospital ?

The hospital has various room categories: semi-special room; special non-AC room; AC rooms and Deluxe rooms.

The Deluxe rooms are large and have an extra bed for a relative to sleep; Fridge, Sony TV (with 60 channels); Geyser for hot water; Phone (incoming) and adequate furniture. All the rooms have services of a dietician and wholesome food is served as per the dietician’s orders. The hospital has a full canteen (small restaurant) and relatives can order food from this canteen (on payment).

 
  What are the operating room equipments ?
There are four OR’s in the hospital. The OR has central gas and suction, all monitors like Pulse oximetry, CO2 measurement; NIBP; respirators, Philips OR lights, Valleylab diathermy, Harmonic Scalpel, Endoscopes from Storz (Germany); The anesthesia machines are from DATEX OHMEDA, USA. All laparoscopic equipments and all open surgery equipments from Martin/Aesculap/Codman etc.
 
  What are the ICU facilities ?
Samved Hospital has state of the art Intensive Care Unit. There are three ventilators from Datex-Ohmeda and the cabins are very spacious and constantly monitored on a central station. The ICU nurses are specially qualified to look after critically ill patients and qualified doctors do the monitoring round the clock. For critical patients the ratio of one nurse to one patient is maintained.
 
  What are the Imaging facilities at Samved ?
Samved Hospital has the latest Imaging equipments like : Spiral CT (60 slice per minute); MRI; Isotope Scan; Digital X-Rays; Colour Dopplers; High resolution Sonography machines; mammography etc.
